Grays Athletic 0, Bedfont Sports 1
GRAYS were unable to take advantage of a second bite at the FA Trophy cherry on Wednesday evening.
The Blues got to replay their Trophy preliminary round encounter with Bedfont Sports after the visitors, who won the first meeting, were found to have played an ineligible player.
However, second time round the outcome was the same as Bedfont grabbed an early lead and held on to it, despite ending the match with ten men.
The decisive goal came on 11 minutes from Ezekiel Bademosi.
It was enough to see the visitors through in front of a crowd of 111 at Parkside, where Michael Kinsella picked up his second caution and was dismissed with five minutes to go, but Grays were not able to take advantage.
