Dogtopia was big success

LAST weekend’s Doptopia event at Hardie Park in Stanford-le-Hope proved a big success and £2,267 was raised for three charities.

Help Bec beat Brain Cancer, Essex Retired Police Dog Fund and Hardie Park itself will share the money following a fun-filled day which featured Dogtopia Pet Services and Alicia’s Obedience Dog Training who delivered an entertaining programme of events.

There were also many stalls at the park.

Alicia Bratby said: “Wow, the turn-out for the event was amazing, the park was buzzing from the start and allowed us to raise £2,267 for our three chosen charities.

“The focus was on the show ring with obedience and training displays, vet talks and dog classes.”

Other activities included, obedience, flyball, agility and trick training. It was our third event in the borough and by far the most successful!”
Rob Groves of Hardie Park said: “We are grateful for the donation to our charity.

“While raising valuable funds for three great community causes the Dogtopia Show team provided a fabulous day of entertainment. The feedback from visitors has been awesome!”
