Detectives seek man in connection with racist posts

Ian Wiltshire

POLICE in Grays have issued a call for information as they try to track down a man who has gained a reputation on the internet for his racist comments.

The force says they are looking to talk to Ian Wiltshire, 64, in connection with a malicious communications investigation.

The appeal follows reports on Sunday, 2 June, that comments were posted online that were intent to stir up religious hatred.

Wiltshire has links to Berkshire, Wiltshire and the Thames Valley area of London and is known to have used the pseudoname Mycroft on some of his postings on social media.

He was last known to have a grey beard and wears glasses.

Anyone with information is asked to call Grays CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
