Police name teenager linked to station assault

POLICE have taken the unusual step of issuing a picture and asking for help to trace a named teenager linked to a crime.

Officers wish to speak to 17-year-old Georgie Powell from Graysin connection with an assault, which occurred on a footbridge between Chafford Hundred train station and intu Lakeside shopping centre on Monday, 25 February.

The teenager is known to frequent the Blackshots area of Grays, Tilbury and other areas in Thurrock.

He is 5ft 10ins tall and is of slim build. He has short black hair.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call police on 101 quoting the incident number 303 of 15/04.
