Man suffers broken jaw in road rage incident

A MAN suffered a broken jaw and required major treatement in hospital after being assaulted during a road rage incident in Thurrock.
Police are appealing for information after responding to the incident on the A1306 (also known as the North Stifford arterial road which links the Treacle Mine roundabaout with the Sainsbury’s roundabout).
It happened at around 2.45pm on Sunday, 4 November, when the victim got into an altercation with two men who were driving a van, which has been described as grey Vauxhall Vivaro.
Both vehicles then stopped in Arterial Road and the occupants of both vehicles got out.
The victim was then punched and knocked to the floor before the suspects, described as being black, drove off.
The man, aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital with a broken jaw and underwent treatment which included having screws and plates fitted.
