FRESH from their success with ‘Rubbin Hood’, Thurrock?Courts Players the group return next week to what they excel at with a comedy by Peter Gordon.
‘Out of Focus’ will run for three performances at the Thameside Theatre,?Orsett Road, Grays, from Thursday, 17 May to Saturday, 19 May.

Arrangements for booking the church hall have been left to the very nervous vicar’s wife. Twenty-three brownies are booked for a sleepover, a badminton tournament has been organised and a pantomime needs to be rehearsed.
On top of all this the hapless Leonard arrives to deliver a talk on steam locomotives.
Eventually they all unite to put on the pantomime and chaos is created
Director Mike Jones said: “Rehearsals have been a joy as we put this clever work from Peter Gordon together.
“Each character leaps from the page onto the stage and I am positive our audiences will love this play.
“In 2015 I directed another Peter Gordon play ‘Murdered to Death’ and Thurrock audiences loved it.
“This is amateur theatre at its very best and a brilliant way to spend a wonderful evening at the Thameside Theatre.”
