Seabrooke show is big boost for charity

A FASHION show at Seabrooke Community House proved a big success.
The event last Wednesday saw a presentation of fashions by Leigh-on-Sea independent fashion designers Curvy Gurl and was compered by Conor Devlin and Daniel Sani.
A spokesperson said: “It all went well and the ladies that volunteered to model were able to keep a frock from the range they modelled.
“After the fashion show we held a frock swap. Ladies donated clothes they didn’t like or didn’t fit and took home what they wanted.
“We asked for a donation and raised £90 for the wear it pink breast cancer charity.
The next event at the Community House is a murder mystery night on Saturday (28 October) with a Halloween theme.
The event starts at 7pm and runs ’til late.’ Admission is £5. More details from the Community House’s Facebook page.
