All White for Covo with 3 new faces

James White - Joining East Thurrock United

EAST Thurrock United manager John Coventry has wasted little time in announcing early additions to his squad for next season’s Vanarama National League South campaign.
While the manager has yet to disclose who will be leaving the squad that achieved a highy creditable mid-table position in their first season at this level, he is already confident of strengthening his side with the additions of James White from Concord rangers, Bradley Warner from Bowers & Pitsea and George Allen from Canvey Island.
White, who was Rangers’ captain last season and has spent five years at Thames Road, says it was time for a change in his career.
He said: “There have been clubs that have come in before and it hasn’t been the right time.
“I have known Covo for some time so I sat down with him and he ran me through his plans and it was inspiring to hear.
“I know a few of the guys there which always helps and they are local. East Thurrock is a bit like Concord in that it is like a family.”
